Extra Inning Softball is honored to announce that 28 players for the Class of 2028, representing Region Six (West), have been named All-Region players. Region Six is comprised by Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
The Extra Inning Softball Rankings Committee makes selections following the review and evaluation of nominations submitted by coaches. Primary factors used when determining player placement include the following:
- coach and regional leadership recommendations
- data/stats
- strength of schedule
- tournaments attended
- top opponents played against
- whether a player plays up
The Region Six (West)Â announcement is the sixth, and final, All-Region announcement.
Class of 2028 All-Region Pitchers for Regions 1-5 as shown below:
- Region One (Northeast)
- Region Two (Southeast)
- Region Three (Midwest)
- Region Four (Southwest)
- Region Five (Mountain)
We congratulate all the Class of 2028 pitchers on Teams 1 & 2. We look forward now to the launch of the Extra Elite 100 player rankings which launch June 3 and conclude on June 28. Check out our complete All-Region and Extra Elite 100 schedule HERE.
We thank all the coaches and leadership who took the time to nominate their players. If you do not see a deserving player recognized in our All-Region rankings, we encourage you to check with the coach before reaching out to our EIS staff.
Once the Extra Elite 100 Pitcher rankings conclude, we will turn our attention to the Class of 2028 All-Region Catchers followed by the Class of 2028 Extra Elite 100 Catcher rankings. More details listed below:

- All-Region Pitchers: June 3-8
- All-Region Catchers: June 17-22
- All-Region Infielders: July 1-6
- All-Region Outfielders: July 15-20
Class of 2028 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings Schedule
- Extra Elite 100Â Pitchers: June 10-14; 17-21
- Extra Elite 100Â Catchers: June 24-28; July 1-5
- Extra Elite 100Â Infielders: July 8-12; 15-19
- Extra Elite 100Â Outfielders: July 22-26; July 29-Aug 2
