We told you so!
Last week after publishing 67 new updates in the Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database we thought this week could be the biggest of the last six months or more.
However, even we were surprised at how much activity there was: we have more than 150 player updates in the last seven days and it’s still climbing!
Helping us greatly was our research on players and teams for the 2020 Extra Elite 100 and the Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings which started Monday. And, as always, we had a lot of “help” from players, parents and coaches… thank you!!!
Check back tomorrow (Thursday) when we’ll run the list of the 150+ new updated verbals and/or club changes of committed players!
We appreciate all those who let us know about the new commits via Twitter and Facebook… you can forward info through email: [email protected] or tag us @ExtraInningSB.
Here are a just a few of the Twitter announcements from the many dozens we received last week…

We always welcome emails from players, parents and coaches sharing the good news!
For example..
*** Thanks to Nebraska Gold which sent us 8 new commitments from this fall.
*** Kylie Macy, a talented 2021 pitcher with the Atlanta Vipers – Holbrook, has done an outstanding job during the recruiting process keeping us up on her progress on and off the field.
She wrote us this week to say: “I committed to Georgia after a visit on Oct. 12” and sent this tweet sharing the big news:
Super Excited To Announce I have Verbally Committed to UGA! Thanks so much to my Family, Friends & Coaches that have helped & supported me! Thx @UGACoachTony @supafic @harrischamper for this opportunity! #GoDawgs #committotheG pic.twitter.com/mzP349Al2o

*** And sometimes when a player writes us, a story or recruiting profile comes out of it! That was what happened with Emily Allen, a 2021 catcher with the Ohio Outlaws.
She emailed last week to say: “Hi, this is the link to my Twitter post from where I committed to North Carolina State. Thank you, have a great day!
We ended up doing this spotlight on her: Recruiting Spotlight: 2021 Commit Emily Allen is ACC-Bound
