You can be sure that when Damien Collins and his brother Brian Collins get together there’s one subject that is sure to come up over the dinner table: softball.
That’s because the two former DI athletes and select baseball and softball coaches of over 15 years also have three young daughters between them who are “stair-stepped” in age meaning they all alternate birth years.
Bailey Collins is a 5-foot-10 Class of 2024 pitcher/third baseman who plays for the Texas Bombers 14U CTX Gold team coached by her uncle, Damien, while first cousin London Collins is a 5-foot-11 2025 outfielder and daughter of Damien, who plays for the same Bombers team.
Bailey’s younger sister, Channing Collins, is a 5-foot-9 2026 pitcher/shortstop who competes for the American Freedom Gold 07 team coached by her and Bailey’s dad, Brian.
So far the family members are 2-for-2 in being named Extra Elite 100 players for their classes as Bailey was ranked in the 2024 Extra Elite 100 and London was just announced this week as making the 2025 Extra Elite 100.

There have been several sisters who have made the Extra Elite 100 rankings including Raegan Holtorf from Arizona, a 2025 MIF, whose older sister is Rylee Holtorf, a 2021 commit to Washington who has been ranked as high as #1 in her class.
While the Collins trio are a ways off from being recruited, their fathers are making sure the talented three are out front and center in the eyes of coaches. The two brothers created a site called 1 Family 1 Swing to chronicle each of the girls’ progress, accomplishments and even upcoming game and tournament schedules.
“We decided to try something unique based on our own recruiting experiences as D1 athletes,” Brian explains. “The 1 Family 1 Swing site is home to updated video content and contact information.”
It’s one destination in hopes college coaches and softball experts would follow along with their journey/progression, watch them grow and judge for themselves where they stand,” Brian agrees.
Both of the former athletes admit they have been happy with the site’s success.
“We have been extremely surprised by the response we’ve received,” Brian adds. “We simply wanted to have (people) view the site and the girls at your convenience and hopefully follow along as we continuously update the site with skills metrics/times, workout/game videos and relevant updates.”
It helps to have a great product to market and so far the Collins trio has earned the recognition they’ve received.
