Could spring be right around the corner?
We’re in the last week of February–March 1 is this Monday–and the awful cold snap that did some much damage to players from Texas to Tennessee has left and the temps in those places are back in the 70’s!
The recruiting picture looks equally bright for many across the nation:
This week we have news on commits/signings to programs like Clemson, College of Charleston, Kentucky, Marshall, Ole Miss, UNC Greensboro, Virginia and many more!
Below you’ll find the list of our 37 new adds to the Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database which has surpassed 6,700 players from the Classes of 2018 to 2024, making it the biggest in the softball world.
Here are some of them who announced their future destinations via social media… let’s first start with Alley Fleener, a 2021 P/2B with Powerhouse, who wrote to tell us how she found her dream school:
I first sent an email to Briar Cliff to introduce myself. Half an hour later, I received an email back saying that they would love to get me on campus to talk about having a spot next fall, so we decided to take a trip to Iowa because my options were still open. After my mom and I toured the campus and talked with Coach Bly, we both knew that I was going to be in Iowa the next four years. About three weeks later, my parents and I called coach and told her that I was committing to her program. It has been the best decision for me both academically and athletically.
This is Alley’s tweet followed by several others who know where there future will be:
