Extra Inning Softball unveiled a revamped Rising Stars Watchlist featuring a new three-tiered structure and national leaderboards for 10U and 12U athletes. The update brings earlier recognition and more defined exposure pathways, giving young athletes a clearer view of where they stand while elevating visibility at the developmental level.
Nominations for the Rising Stars Futures Summer Watchlist will officially open on Friday, May 29 and close on Tuesday, June 30.
A direct link to the nomination form will be available on the Extra Inning Softball website, prominently displayed in the top yellow banner once submissions go live.

Transfer Portal Opens June 8
With the transfer portal set to open on June 8, Extra Inning Softball continues to support athletes through its Transfer Switchboard. The platform is designed to increase visibility and streamline connections between players and programs, helping athletes navigate one of the most competitive periods in recruiting.

DC Elite Partnership Expands Tournament Exposure
Extra Inning Softball announced a partnership with DC Elite Softball to integrate Tournament Performance Rankings into major summer showcase events across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. The collaboration creates additional national exposure opportunities, allowing athletes to be evaluated based on real-time performance.

Master Verbal Database Reaches 2,413 Athletes
The Master Verbal Database continues to grow as a central recruiting resource, now featuring 2,413 committed athletes. The platform provides long-term recognition while offering a centralized location for tracking commitments across the country.
Athletes, parents, and coaches can submit commitment information through the official “I Committed” form.
Once submitted, athletes become eligible for feature placement within the “I Committed” series and inclusion in the Master Verbal Database. This process ensures that commitments are captured accurately while providing athletes with an opportunity for national exposure.

WCWS Guide Prepares Fans for Championship Stage
