Pro News: Florida Vibe Adds Kaci Clark Zerbe in Advisory Role Including Pitching Coordinator

Florida Vibe has added Kaci Clark Zerbe in an advisory role.

As announced today by the Florida Vibe pro fastpitch organization based in Bradenton, Florida, Kaci Clark Zerbe is the newest member of the team’s staff, stepping into the role of pitching coordinator and liaison for the Summer 2022 season.

Kaci brings extensive experience and experience to support the Vibe pitching staff.

She has coached at the NCAA Division I, NJCAA, high school and travel ball levels. For the last 22 years, Kaci has been a private pitching instructor and clinician. Her current and past students have represented the USA Women’s Junior National Team, NCAA National Championship teams as well as multiple Top 25 teams at the NCAA Div. I and II, National Pro Fastpitch, ASA and PGF levels.

Accolades her students have received include:

  • Most Outstanding Player at the Div. I NCAA Women’s College World Series
  • multiple NCAA and ASA All-American awards
  • numerous NCAA All-Conference selections
  • Conference Pitcher of the Year

Kaci has also spent time training international pitchers and pitching staffs for Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and Germany.

Kaci when she played for the Brakettes

As a player, she began her college career at Georgia State University and competed it at UCLA. She has pitched on six national championship teams including one NCAA, three pro fastpitch and back-to-back ASA Women’s Championships with the Stratford Brakettes.

Kaci has been an All-American three times, a professional all-star four times, the Pro League Pitcher of the Year twice, the Pro League MVP once and the ASA’s Most Outstanding Pitcher for the Women’s Open Division.

She also competed internationally in Japan for Team Honda, in Australia where she was the Perth League’s Most Outstanding Pitcher and in New Zealand. Kaci finished her career on the Pro Fastpitch X-Treme tour and finally playing for FCA softball.

Kaci currently lives and teaches inn Florida with her husband, Mike and her two sons, Caleb and Jacob.

Former Oklahoma pitcher Shannon Saile was the team’s first signee… since then, other players who have been added include catcher Kendyl Lindaman, outfielder Falepolima Aviu, outfielder A.J. Andrews, outfielder Mandie Perez, infielder Mackenzie Boesel and pitcher Kaitlyn Lee.
