“NFCA or Bust:” Registration Now Open for the 2021 NFCA Convention this December in Las Vegas

The 2021 NFCA Convention will be held this December in Las Vegas.

The following release was sent out today by the NFCA to promote its December convention… here are the details…

Reignite, Reconnect, Reinvest, Recharge and Remember as the largest gathering of softball coaches and exhibitors in the country heads to Las Vegas for the 2021 NFCA National Convention. The Greatest Softball Show on Earth takes place Dec. 8-11 at Caesar’s Forum.

We are excited to be back in person in 2021. The Convention includes education, social events, networking opportunities, innovations and more, along with some new features during the four-day event.

Be sure to register by Nov. 1 to take advantage of our early-bird rates (members must be logged in to NFCA.org to receive exclusive pricing). Additionally, the NFCA has blocked rooms at Harrah’s Las Vegas at $128 per night (plus tax).  To make a reservation BOOK HERE or call 800-214-9110 and please use the room block code: NFCA 2021. The cut-off date for the NFCA room block is Nov. 19.

Harrah’s Las Vegas is located across the Strip from Caesars Palace and a three-minute walk from the Linq shopping promenade. The hotel is a stop on the Las Vegas Monorail and is conveniently located with direct access to Convention programming in Caesars Forum via a skybridge connecting the two venues.

For all of your 2021 NFCA Convention needs, check out the Convention Home Page. The link can also be found on the top of NFCA.org and in our side menu.

The non-member rate starts at $500 and increases to $550 after Nov. 1 and to $600 after Nov. 25. Non-members should join the NFCA and qualify for the Convention discount.

Caesars Entertainment has maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to do so. There will be extra safety precautions in place, as needed, and the NFCA will be working closely with Caesars Entertainment to ensure a successful event. The NFCA and facilities will be following all state and local health guidelines that are in place at that time. These may or may not include social distancing, masks, proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or proof of negative tests, all of which will be out of the NFCA’s control.

What’s included in your Convention registration?
Attendees at Convention have access to speakers, speakers & more speakers; Opening Reception; Largest-ever Exhibit Hall; Mentoring Workshop; Breakfasts; Business & Caucus meetings; Happy Hour; Awards Brunch; Late-night reception; Hall of Fame Banquet; Fireside Chats; Special educational tracks (head coach/assistant/instructor); Legal counsel access; Unlimited networking opportunities; Memories that last a lifetime!

What’s New
New on tap this year is the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) workshop and track education programming. A two-hour DEI workshop (Friday, Dec. 10) allows attendees to have a greater understanding of how coaches influence, shape and drive diversity, equity and inclusion within their programs. On Saturday afternoon (Dec. 11), attendees can choose from nine sessions within three tracks for head coaches, assistant coaches and instructors. Follow one track over the three 45-minute sessions or mix and match to create content that is perfect for the coach you are and aspire to be.

Extra opportunities to learn
For a small additional cost, choose from three three-hour pre-Convention seminars from 1-4:00 p.m. on Dec. 4 or three National Fastpitch Coaches College classes, two prior to Convention (Dec. 7-8) and one after on Dec. 11-12.

Exhibit Show
Make plans to navigate the largest Exhibit Show space in NFCA history. Visit your favorite companies and make time for new faces in the softball market. Take advantage of the Digital Auction, an opportunity to bid on your favorite items through the App. The Exhibit Show, which has sold out the last four years, is the largest gathering of fastpitch coaches in the country.

Hall of Fame
At the most prestigious event of Convention, join us in honoring not one, but two classes! Our class of 2020 includes Donna Fields (St. Mary’s University), Kris Herman (Williams College) and Heinz Mueller (Phoenix College). They are joined by 2021 inductees Mary Higgins (Creighton University – ret.) and Leslie Huntington (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire).
